Salisbury City Council candidates take to SU for political forum

During a political forum Wednesday night at Salisbury University, 10 of the 12 City Council candidates, including Mayoral candidate Jake Day, discussed manufacturing jobs, poverty, crime, business development, and downtown revitalization.

Laura Mitchell is running unopposed for District five, as is Jake Day for Mayor.
47 ABC caught up with Day after the debate to see how he feels about the field of council candidates, he tells said, “”I think it’s amazing that you’ve got such positivity from every candidate.” and “Every single candidate council candidate was absolutely about taking our young people and ensuring that they have a brighter future than they have today when they grow up in Salisbury.”
The Salisbury City Election is less than two weeks away on November 3rd.
