Restaurants say crabs were up this season

Earlier this summer predictions were for a down year for blue crabs after a Chesapeake Bay report showed that female crab numbers had dropped significantly last year.

However, now that season is winding up it turns out crab lovers had nothing to worry about.

47 ABC called local crab houses Tuesday to get their take on it on how the season went and besides for some places reporting a rise in price, all said the season was a thumbs up from last year in numbers and in size.
