Queen Anne’s Celebrates Coach Graef’s 150th Win

Friday nights game between Queen Anne’s County High School and Wicomico High School was special for the Lions because Head Coach Graef was honored during a pregame ceremony for his 150th career win. During the ceremony on the field, his wife gave a speech and presented him the game ball surrounded by his family and former/current players.
As most people predicted, Queen Anne’s got the win at home over WiHi, but the Indians put up a great fight against the Lions and the first half. WiHi held this powerful offense to just 14 points into late in the second quarter, but the Lions managed to take a 21 – 6 lead over the Lions heading into halftime.
While WiHi managed to put up a couple more touchdowns, including in impressive 70 yard touchdown from JoJo Brittingham, it would not be enough to top the powerhouse Queen Anne’s County High School who was playing in front of a large home crowd. The Lions scored 26 points in the second half to get the commanding 47-19 win over WiHi.
