PRMC holds drive-through flu shot clinic

Thursday kicked off the 22nd annual PRMC drive-through flu clinic at Arthur Perdue Stadium in Salisbury. About 100 volunteers scattered about the stadium parking lot handing out consent forms for those who were interested in getting a flu shot.
PRMC are asking folks to pay a $10 donation fee to help cover the cost of the shot but if you cant afford it, you can still get one anyway free of charge. Karen Mihalik volunteers at the clinic and she says they normally see about 4,000 to 5,000 people during the two days that it takes place.
Mihalik tells 47 ABC, “This is easy because you just drive up and you stay in your car and you’re in your car the whole time you don’t have to get out. This is really great the people love it we have some people that come every year.”
The clinic is open Friday as well from 10 AM to 6 PM.
