Poultry house fire in Federalsburg under investigation

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says, they are investigating a poultry house fire, that happened early Monday morning, in Caroline County.
According to reports, a chicken house on Chipmans Lane, in Federalsburg, went up in flames just after 3:30 AM on Monday. It reportedly took about seven different responding fire departments approximately 45 minuets to put out the blaze. Officials say there were no birds in the structure at the time of the fire. The flames reportedly caused about $300,000 worth of damages.
