Police: Three arrested in overnight shooting

Police are investigating an overnight shooting that happened in the parking lot of the Legend’s night club, where a woman was reportedly shot in the face.
Authorities say around 1:00 a.m. Sunday, patrons were leaving the club when a physical altercation occurred between several male suspects. We’re told shots were fired during the fight, which struck a 25-year-old Millsboro woman in the face as she was walking across the parking lot.
Police say the victim was transported to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital for further non-life threatening treatment and evaluations.
According to police, the parking lot of the night club cleared but the fight continued in the parking lot of the Royal Farms and Oasis Truck Stop on Sussex Highway.
23-year-old Dover man Randall Harris and 23-year-old Ellendale man Tevin Whaley were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest. Whaley was treated for minor abrasions and cuts to his face from the altercation in the Royal Farms parking lot. He was eventually released from custody with an unsecured bond and a future court date.
Harris was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of a secured bond. Police say he provided false information, because he had active warrants for his arrest issued out of Justice of the Peace Court 7. Harris received further charges of Criminal Impersonation and Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited.
20-year-old Dover man Lewis Foreman was also arrested for disorderly conduct. Foreman was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of a secured bond as well. He also had active warrants issued for his arrest out of Kent County Family Court and Delaware State Police Troop 6, according to Laurel Police.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and several suspects are being sought.
