Police chase ends with suspect sent to hospital

Troopers from the Maryland State Police Salisbury barrack say one suspect was taken to the hospital, after reportedly leading police on a chase.
Troopers say the incident started in the Walmart parking lot in North Salisbury after 4:00 Monday evening. Authorities reportedly were moving in on an attempted drug arrest when the suspect took off and apparently tried to ram a State Police vehicle.
Members of a task force consisting of State Troopers and other agencies from Salisbury and Fruitland reportedly followed the suspect’s vehicle into Delaware.
Police tell 47 ABC the suspect was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, no word yet on the extent of any injuries or how the suspect was hurt.
State Police say no troopers were harmed in the incident.
