Pennsylvania man charged in Ocean City hit and run crash

A Pennsylvania man is facing charges in Ocean City, after he was reportedly involved in a hit and run crash.
Ocean City Police say on Friday around 6:25 PM, Officers responded to a hit and run crash on 7th Street at Philadelphia Avenue. The investigation reportedly showed that a vehicle tried to do a burnout on Philadelphia Avenue, but lost control and hit the railing in front of Pickles Pub, at a low speed.
On Saturday, Police say they learned that a video was going around social media of the incident. This video led Officers to identify the driver as 44-year-old Greg Peters. He was then charged with negligent driving, spinning wheels, driving vehicle on a sidewalk, failure of vehicle driver to stop after unattended property damage accident, failure of motor vehicle driver to furnish written identification information, failure of vehicle driver to stop after unattended property damage accident, failure of vehicle driver involved in accident to give insurance policy information, and driver failure to obey designated lane direction.
Ocean City Police are reminding motorist to drive with caution, as they have strict enforcement and zero tolerance.
