Parole denied for convicted murderer

The parole application for convicted killer, Ransford Bryan, has been denied.
46- year- old Bryan was sentenced to life in prison after he shot and killed his friend Dougie Brockway back in 1987 in Sussex County.
The decision comes after Peggy Truitt Brockway, Dougie’s mother, started a petition to keep Bryan behind bars. She received more than two-thousand signatures.
47 ABC spoke with her over the phone this morning and she believes the petition is what may have swayed the parole board to keep her son’s killer in prison.
Bryan has been given the opportunity to re-apply for parole in twelve months.
