Organization looks to expose Perdue; other poultry companies

Global organization Oxfam America launched a new campaign and released their findings in a report focusing on the harsh working conditions they say exist in American poultry houses.
As a part of their campaign, Oxfam is putting pressure on poultry producers Tyson, Pilgrim’s, Perdue, and Sanderson Farms, to stop the alleged exploitation of their workers.
They’re calling for Congress and OSHA to ramp up federal oversight to look at the high rates of workplace injuries and what they call deplorable conditions.
