North Caroline Stays Perfect, Rolls Parkside

The North Caroline football team remained perfect on the year when they hit the road and defeated Parkside 48-6. The win improves the Bulldogs to 6-0, while the loss drops the Rams to 4-2.
The ‘Dawgs made themselves right at home early in the game. On their second drive of the afternoon, David Bailey broke loose for a 40 yard run up the left side that he would take in for the score. The Rams would be force to punt on their next possession, and North Caroline would go right back to work. They would finish off another drive with a touchdown after Tay Potts would get it on a sweep, dive for the end zone and just get in. Then after another punt by Parkside, North Caroline would make it a 3 score lead after Rodney Thomas broke loose for a score up the right side. The Rams then finally found their footing. They would cap off a long drive with a 21 yard touchdown run off the right side by Trajon Branch. But that was about the only thing that wen the Rams way the whole night. The ‘Dawgs would answer with a drive that would be capped off with a touchdown pass from Cameron Byrd to Bailey, who would break several arm tackles and go up the left side for the touchdown. Then just before half, North Caroline would put the game away early after Thomas would break another touchdown run up the left side.
North Caroline returns to work next Thursday when they host Kent County, while Parkside travels to play Bennett on Thursday as well.
