Milford holds on to defeat Sussex Academy

The Milford Buccaneers boys’ soccer team defeated Sussex Academy 1-0 on Thursday night, in Milford.

After a scoreless first half, Derrick Bogan scored the game’s lone goal in the 62nd minute to give the Bucs the lead, one they would have to cling to hold onto for the final 18+ minutes.

Milford (5-3) travels to Caesar Rodney on Tuesday, while Sussex Academy (4-4-1) has a week break, before visiting Seaford on next Thursday.
