Man jailed after police say he stabbed his mother

Salisbury Police Chief Barbara Duncan tells 47 ABC Conner Salmon, 22, is being held without bond after he allegedly stabbed his mother, and threatened to set the house on fire.

Police say the incident happened on Sunday, October 11, 2015, on the 500 block of Stockridge Drive. Salmon reportedly stabbed his mother with a screwdriver, and a knife, before making the threats of arson.

Chief Duncan says Salmon is being held without bond. According to the Maryland online case database, Salmon faces charges of first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, dangerous weapon with intent to injure, first degree arson, and attempted first degree murder.

A preliminary hearing on the case will be held on November 5.
