Man charged with assault after argument about dishes

Members of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office say they arrested Jenniver Coleman, 59, after he allegedly assaulted a woman for not doing the dishes.
Police say during their investigation, a female victim told them the argument began when Coleman was upset with her not doing the dishes. The victim reportedly told officers that Coleman threw her to the floor and grabbed her hair and at one point choked her.
Deputies say their investigation indicated signs of injuries that matched up with the victim’s story.
According to the police report, the deputy placed Coleman under arrest and charged him with 1st and 2nd degree assault, and reckless endangerment, and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner, where he was later detained on $25,000.00 bond.
