Laurel Soccer Gets A Comeback Win Over Woodbridge
The Woodbridge Blue Raiders played host to the Laurel Bulldogs in a great Thursday night showdown in Greenwood, Delaware. The Bulldogs looked to rebound back from Tuesday’s loss to Dover against the Blue Raiders and despite falling behind early on – the Bulldogs managed to keep their heads in the game.
Wilian Velasquez Santizo had quite the game scoring back to back goals for the Blue Raiders as he helped his team take a 1-0 lead in the first half and he put away another goal again in the second half to take a 2-1 lead. However, one of the Bulldogs had himself a two-goal game as well, Arles Henriquez put away 2 second-half goals including the equalizer and the go-ahead goal in in the 61st minute of play.
Despite falling behind twice in the game, Laurel would grab their 5th win of the year as they get the win over Woodbridge, 4-2.
