Information sought in Millsboro attempted strong armed robbery

Police in Millsboro are working to identify the suspect in an apparent Thursday afternoon strong armed robbery attempt.

Millsboro Police say on Thursday around 2:50 PM, Officers responded to the Millsboro Bodies for a report of an attempted strong armed robbery. Once on scene, Police say they spoke with the victim, an elderly man, in the parking lot of Bodies, who said that he was leaving the store and walking back to his car, when someone grabbed him from behind.

The victim reportedly fell to the ground, and while he was down, Police say the suspect tried to get his wallet, but the man was able to fend them off. The suspect, who is described as a man in his early to mid twenties, last seen wearing gray sweat pants, and a white t-shirt, reportedly fled the parking lot on a bicycle.
