Fruitland man charged for Delmar strong armed robbery

A Fruitland man is facing charges, after Police say he robbed someone with force.

The Delmar Police Department says on Thursday, Officers responded to a parking lot on Ocean Highway, for reports of a strong armed robbery. According to the report, during the incident an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the victim, before the suspect fled in a vehicle.

Delmar Police say they continued to investigate, and with the help of Salisbury Police, arrested 22-year-old Zachary Kinhart. He was then charged with robbery, assault second degree, theft less than $1,000, conspiracy-robbery, conspriacy-assault second degree, and conspiracy-theft less than $1,000.
