Elections set for next week in Accomack Co.

The general election next week. Voters will be electing all the nine Board of Supervisors members and their state representative in the house and senate.
The candidates for the house are democrat Willie Randall and incumbent republican Robert Bloxom Jr. In the Senate, incumbent democrat Lynwood Lewis Jr. is taking on republican Richard Ottinger.
The races for treasurer, sheriff, state’s attorney, clerk of the court, and commissioner of revenue are all uncontested races. Only the incumbents are running for those spots.
As for the candidates for the board of supervisors, the seats for districts one, three, six, eight and nine are uncontested.
For district two, incumbent Ron Wolf, who is registered as an independent, is facing republican Stephen Corazza. For district four, incumbent independent Kay Lewis is taking on independent Paul Muhly. In district five, incumbent independent John Gray is facing independent Harrison Phillips III. In district seven, incumbent Laura Gordy, who is an independent, is facing independent G. Cabell Lawton IV.
Polls open Tuesday, November 3rd, at 6:00 AM and are open until 7:00 PM.
