Edamame recalled due to allergen left off label

A local grocery store says they have removed a product from shelves, after an allergen was left off of the label. Giant Food says Nature’s Promise Organic Edamame have been removed from sale, because they contain soy, which wasn’t listed on their ingredient label.
The following products are included in this recall:
· Nature’s Promise Organic Shelled Edamame, 16 oz., UPC 68826712764
· Nature’s Promise Organic Edamame in Pod, 16 oz., UPC 68826702124
Officials say the products are safe to eat for those who don’t have a soy allergy, but could be harmful to those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy. Giant says there haven’t been any illnesses to date. Customers should dispose of any unused portions, and bring their original purchase receipt to the store, for a full refund.
