Dover man stabbed in Easton, information sought

A Dover man is in the hospital, after he was reportedly stabbed in Easton. The Easton Police Department says on Tuesday just before 5:00 PM, Officers responded to Blake Street, for reports of an assault.

Once on scene, Police say they found that 51-year-old Selwyn Bellamy had been stabbed. He was then air-lifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. According to the report, Bellamy had a puncture wound to his back, and as of Wednesday morning, was listed in critical condition.

Police say the incident started with a fight between several people, during which Bellamy was stabbed. Easton PD is asking anyone who may have more information about the fight is asked to call 410-822-1111.
