Dover man arrested on stolen gun charges

A Dover man is behind bars, after Police reportedly found him with a stolen gun.
Dover Police say on Wednesday night around 10:35 PM, Officers stopped 20-year-old Khiheim Hanzer on South Governors Avenue, during a weapons investigation. Police say they learned that Hanzer had a loaded .45 caliber handgun on him, that was reported as stolen.
After the discovery, Hanzer was arrested, and charged with possession of firearm by person prohibited, possession of ammunition by person prohibited, carrying concealed deadly weapon, and receiving a stolen firearm.
He is currently being held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $9,000 bond.
