Delaware youth hunting requirements

In Delaware, youth hunters must be with a licensed or exempt adult hunter age 21 or older.

Youth hunters age 13 through 15 must complete a hunter education course, have a certification card and buy a Delaware junior hunting license.

Youth hunters age 10 through 12 must have a license exempt number and can take hunter education. A couple important dates for hunters, waterfowl season opens up this Saturday. Deer season starts on November 7th.
