Delaware confirms first Kent Co. Influenza case

Flu season has arrived early this year.
On Friday, the Delaware Division of Public Health reported the state’s first case for the 2015-2016 flu season.
The case involved a 33-year-old Kent County woman who is now reportedly recovering in her home.
Health Officials say the dominant strains circulating this year are “A” and “B.”
Both of which are covered with the vaccine.
DPH are warning residents to get their vaccines as soon as possible and are also offering flu shots statewide.
