Currian’s 5 TD’s Power Kent County Past Snow Hill

The Kent County football team hit the road Friday night and topped Snow Hill 57-0. The win improves the Trojans to 5-3, while the loss drops the Eagles to 0-8.
The Trojans would open the game with a quick score as Stevie Currian would air one deep down the left sideline and find Shawn Lister for the 50 yard touchdown. After the Eagles turned it over, Kent County would stretch their lead to 14-0 after Currian found Marquan Greene in the flats, and he made several defenders miss and took it in from 14 yards out. Snow Hill would then decide to try and press the issue by going with a fake punt, but the Trojans defense would sniff it out. That would lead to another Currian to Greene score. They would then push their lead to 28-0 after yet another touchdown pass from Currian to Greene. Kent County would then put the game away early as Brandon Healy would recover a fumble in the endzone for the score.
Kent County returns to work next Friday when they host Arcadia, while Snow Hill travels to Cambridge next week.
