Crisfield man arrested on drug charges

A Crisfield man is behind bars, after Police say a search of his home revealed heroin.
Crisfield Police Department says on Thursday evening, around 8:25 PM, Officers, with help from the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, searched a home on Strobel Lane, in connection with an on-going drug investigation.
Investigators say they found and seized approximately 8 grams of Heroin, $944 in cash, a shotgun, 9 cell phones, a 2004 Chevy Malibu, a scale and other drug paraphernalia at the house. The seized heroin has a reported street value of $4,000.
Police say they took Eddie Heath Jr. into custody at the home, and charged him with cds possession w/i to distribute, cds possession -not marijuana, cds possession of paraphernalia, common nuisance / distribution of cds, firearms / drug trafficking, cds; distribution w/ firearm, firearm use/ felony – violent crime, rifle / shotgun possession, and rifle / shotgun felon in possession. Police say the investigation is on-going at this time.
