Cape Makes Statement Against Dover

The Cape Henlopen football team had a huge bounce back win Friday night when they defeated Dover 35-14. The win improves the Vikings to 4-2, while the loss drops the Senators to 3-3.

The Vikings came out of the gates firing on all cylinders. They marched down the field and capped off their drive with a touchdown pass from Dillon Adams to Jeremiah Smack. Shortly after that, Rasheed Wood would get into the scoring act as he hauled in a 10 yard touchdown pass. The Senators would get on the board with a Erik Stephane Stancofski interception return. But the offense never got going for Dover and it never slowed for Cape.

The Senators return to work Friday when they travel to play the Sallies, while Dover host Caesar Rodney on Friday.
