Cambridge man arrested on attempted murder charges

A Cambridge man is facing charges, after he reportedly shot at someone before fleeing.
Cambridge Police say on Thursday, Officers responded to Charles Street for reports of gunshots. Once on scene, Police say they met with someone who said that they had been shot at, but not hit, by gunfire in the area. The police investigation reportedly revealed that the shooter was 30-year-old Marcus Griffin.
A warrant was received for Griffin on charges of attempted first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, firearm use/felony-violent crime, handgun on person, and disorderly conduct.
Police say the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team found Griffin on Friday, and took him into custody. He is currently behind bars at the Dorchester County Detention Center, without bond.
