Cambridge man arrested for break in at Horn Point Research Facility
A Cambridge man has been charged in connection with a theft from early September.
The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office says on Friday, they arrested 37-year-old Matthew Smith, in relation to the investigation in a breaking and entering, and theft that happened at the Horn Point Research Facility, on September 4.
After his arrest, Smith was charged with breaking and entering of a research facility, theft under $1,000, theft scheme under $1,000, and malicious destruction of property under $1,000.
He is now being held on a $75,000 bond.
