Almost 60 breweries converge on Wico. Co.

Tasting up to 110 beers in Pemberton Park is not a crime, it’s the Good Beer Festival in Salisbury, Md., which takes place this Saturday and Sunday.

Fifty-eight different breweries are participating,  including locals such as Rubber Soul in Salisbury, Dogfish Head from Delaware and Ocean City Brewery.

As well as some national beer bastions like Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada and New Belgium.

Tickets are $35 and that will get you a tasting glass and unlimited beer tastings.

All revenue benefits Wicomico County Parks and Recreation.

“Were hoping to make a positive impact with financially anywhere from 10 to $20,000 and that money gets ready to go back into our programming for our youth programs and some of our adult sports and things like that,” said Andy Kitzrow, Wicomico County Recreation superintendent.

Doors open Sunday at 12:30 pm.
