300+ already signed up for Nextdoor app in Dover

Neighborhood communication app Nextdoor has been well received among area residents.

Since its launch more than a week ago Captain Spicer tells us that just over 300people in 12 different neighborhoods, have already registered for the app.

Overall, we’re told the feedback has been positive.

Captain Spicer says they haven’t had to make use of the app yet, but he believes it will eventually be a big help with specific types of crime.

“This is a new app that we’re all excited about, that if a certain neighborhood is experiencing a certain type of crime, they can talk amongst themselves and watch out for different people.”
