Vilov, Schoyen lead Rams to shutout win over Warriors

Junior striker Blair Vilov recorded another hat trick and sophomore goalie Miyuli Schoyen turned away all of Mardela’s shots, to record another shutout, in Parkside’s 5-0 win.

Ava Walter would break a scoreless tie in the first half, when Vilov found her streaking in the middle of the defense and she put a shot past the keeper. Shortly after, Vilov would score her first goal of the game, getting the ball in the box and blasting one to the upper left corner. She would score 2 of Parkside’s 3 goals in the second half.

The Rams (4-0) next game is at rival Bennett on Monday, while Mardela (2-1) will travels to Bennett on Friday.
