Uzin Utz hosts grand opening in Dover

Germany has made it’s way to Delaware in the form of a manufacturing company.
It was no short of a celebration today at the grand opening of Uzin Utz. The Dover High School drumline kicked off the ribbon cutting to give the German manufacturer’s owners a real City of Dover welcome.
Uzin Utz is a patching compounds and floor leveling company. They employ about one thousand people worldwide; and have locations in 48 countries. Their plant in Dover is their first in North America.
Thomas Muellerschoen, the CFO of Uzin Utz says, “We’ve gotten to know so many people in the United States over the last two years who have joined us on this journey. This is not limited to our distribution partners, but our community partners. We can truly say we are not just business partners, but also friends. We love America.”
