UPDATE: Seaford planned power outage over

Officials say a planned power outage in Seaford, has wrapped up. The City of Seaford says Monday’s city-wide Delmarva Power outage ended at 4:30 AM.

The City says during the outage, the contractor was able to safely complete replacing wires that go from the takeoff structure of Delmarva Power’s transmission line to the switch at Pine Street Substation, which is where the City of Seaford gets all of its power.

The work was done within the four hour window, but a second phase has been scheduled for October 5, pending weather. For more information contact the City of Seaford at 302-629-9173.
