UPDATE: Man identified in fatal Snow Hill crash

Police have identified the man killed in a fatal motorcycle-crash near Snow Hill Sunday.

According to Maryland State Police, 65-year-old Pittsville man Steven Hoffman was traveling southbound on Route 354 on his 2002 Yamaha motorcycle when the vehicle left the roadway.

We’re told Hoffman crashed into a nearby telephone pole and was declared dead on the scene by Snow Hill EMS.

Maryland State Police are reportedly handling the investigation, and assistance with this incident was provided by the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office.
