UPDATE: Crash kills infant, injures two others in Bridgeville

Delaware State Police say one infant has died after a crash that occurred on Oak Road around 12:45 P.M. Friday.
According to reports, Liliana M. Ramos-Ramirez, 22, was operating a Toyota Celica that police say for unknown reasons veered off the side of the road, overturned and struck a utility pole.
Troopers say a 3-month-old infant was seated in a child seat, but was not properly restrained at the time of the crash, and was ejected from the vehicle. Police say the infant was transported to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Troopers also report an 18-month-old child was also in the car at the time of the crash. Police report that this child was also in a car seat that was not properly restrained, but was not ejected from the vehicle. Authorities say the child was airlifted to A.I. Dupont for unknown injuries.
Ramos-Ramirez, who is the mother of both children, was taken to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers say Ramos-Ramirez was later transported back to Troop 5 in Bridgeville where she was charged with Driving Without a Valid License, Operation of a Vehicle Causing Death to Another Person, Child Under 8 and less than 65 lbs. or Child 8 to 15 or less than 65 lbs. must be in Child Restraint, and Inattentive Driving.
Ramirez-Ramos was arraigned and released on $1,000.00 bond.
Police say both lanes of Oak Road were closed due to the crash. We’re told those roads opened around 4:30 P.M. Friday.
