Two arrested in Salisbury for cocaine possession

A traffic stop in Salisbury on Wednesday, led to two arrests. The Maryland State Police Gang Enforcement Unit and the Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force says they stopped a vehicle driven by Barnard Milton Kellam, and during a search, found a plastic bag which contained suspected cocaine.

Kellamn was arrested, and Investigators say they then searched his North Zion Road home, in Salisbury, and found Byron Maurice Smiley, who was also arrested. Police say they recovered 139.9 grams of suspected cocaine, 3.8 grams of suspected marijuana, and ammunition.

Kellam and Smiley were both charged with CDS: possession of a large amount of cocaine; CDS: possession with the intent to distribute cocaine; CDS: possession of cocaine; illegal possession of ammunition and possession of paraphernalia. Both were ordered to be held on a $100,000 bond.
