Three wanted for violent Seaford home invasion

State Troopers are investigating a violent home invasion that reportedly happened overnight in Seaford.

Delaware State Police say on Monday, around 10:10 PM, a 31-year-old man was in the shower at his North Street Extension home, when he heard a noise. He was the reportedly confronted by two men, and a woman, inside his bathroom. Police say all three suspects, who were armed with handguns, pulled the 31-year-old from the shower, threw him to the ground, and kicked him multiple times, before hitting him in the face with a gun.

The suspects then reportedly tied the victim’s hands before his back, and demanded money. Police say the assailants took the cash from the victim’s pants pocket, and fled out the back door of the home.

The 31-year-old was apparently not seriously injured in the incident, and didn’t require immediate medical attention. Police describe the male suspects as 5’10” – 6′ tall, dressed in all black clothing, with black masks and gloves, while the female suspect was described as being 5’06” – 5’07” tall, also dressed in all black clothing, with a black mask and gloves.

Detectives say they believe the victim was targeted, and that the crime was not a random act. Anyone with information about this incident, or the identity of the suspects, is asked to contact Det. K.
