SWAT called in after report of buglary

Officials from the Salisbury Police Department say the SWAT team was called in as back up today, after a report of a burglary on Holland Ave. in Salisbury.
According to police, an officer responded to an empty house for reports of a buglary, when he apparently heard noises coming from inside the house.
Chief Barbara Duncan says when the officer had called for backup without a response, members of the SWAT team moved in as a precaution.
Upon further investigation, it was reportedly determined that the house was in fact empty, however there were indications that a burglary took place.
The investigation is ongoing.
