SU Men’s Soccer Falls To Eastern

The Salisbury University men’s soccer team lost a tough 1-0 game Wednesday afternoon to Eastern. The loss drops the Sea Gulls to 5-2 on the year.
The Eagles would control the ball early on, pressure SU’s defense. But once the Gulls settled in, they began to counter attack and got several great opportunities to put one home. Leslie Umunna would have a few shots on goal, but continually hit it right in the direction of a defender and was unable to score one. Eastern then earned a corner, which would result in a header goal for the Eagles. The defense would clamp down the rest of the way for SU, but they could never come up with the equalizer.
