Snow Hill Football Falls To Arcadia

The Snow Hill football team fell at home Friday night to Arcadia 21-12. The loss drops the Eagles to 0-3, while the win improves the Firebirds to 2-1.
Snow Hill would strike first after Damian Thornton would get the hand off on an end around, and score from 7 yards out in the first quarter. The point after was no-good as the Eagles would take a 6-0 lead. The Firebirds then answered with a long drive in the 2nd quarter, and would cap it off with a short touchdown run by Contrel Brown. The road team would take a 7-6 lead into half time. The Eagles would have a hard time slowing down the Firebirds two headed monster at tail back in the second half as well as they would ultimately come up a little bit short.
Snow Hill returns to action next Friday when they travel to Washington.
