Route 26 closures come sooner than expected

The daily lane closures on route 26 through Ocean View, Del. associated with the mainline improvement project are set to resume earlier than expected.

Construction is set to resume after labor day weekend on Tuesday  and motorists should expect daily daytime closures Monday through Thursday.    

After October 1, closures will start occurring during the weekend and during nighttime.    

The expected completion of the SR 26 project is September 2016.
