Queen Anne’s Football Bounce Back At Bennett

The Queen Anne’s football team bounced back from their season opening loss at Kent County with a dominate 51-7 win at Bennett. The win improves the Lions to 1-1 on the year, while the loss drops the Clippers to 1-1.

Queen Anne’s would strike first at Rick Dunkerly would score on a 18 yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Shortly after that, Jykel Henry would have a 5 yard touchdown run to push the lead to 13-0. The Lions would then take a 30-7 lead into the break after getting a couple touchdown runs from Tommy Bull and Jykel Garner. The offense continued to roll in the 2nd half as Bull would score again, as well as a touchdown from Diondre Collins.
