Princess Anne man charged with handgun offense

A Princess Anne man is facing charges, after he was reportedly found with a gun during a fight at a local convenience store.

Princess Anne Police say on Saturday, Officers responded to the Royal Farms on Mount Vernon Road, for reports of a large crowd.

Once on scene, Officers say they arrested 23-year-old Andre Schoolfield, of disorderly conduct, having a handgun on person, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Schoolfield is now behind bars at the Somerset County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
