Police: Man wanted for vehicle thefts

Delaware State Police say they are trying to find a Milford man allegedly involved in numerous thefts from vehicles, as well as a theft of a vehicle.
36-year-old Nathan Smith is wanted on one count of theft of a vehicle, six counts of theft under $1500, and four counts of criminal trespass after he was linked to various car break-ins that occurred on Milford-Harrington Highway and Canterbury Road.
Authorities say the incidents occurred west of Milford sometime between 8:30 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. Friday.
According to Corporal Gary Fournier of the Delaware State Police, the stolen motor vehicle was recovered Saturday in Rehoboth Beach. We’re told Smith may still be in that area.
Smith is also wanted out of Sussex County Court of Common Pleas on two capiases.
