Police investigate suspicious death in Delaware

A suspicious death investigation is currently underway by Delaware State Police.
State police say they were called to the one-thousand block of Cabin Ridge Road west of Felton around 10:45PM Sunday night to check on the welfare of a man at the home.
A friend of the male was concerned for his well-being after he had not been heard from since the previous day.
Upon entering the house, a 48-year-old man was found dead in the living room from apparent gunshot wounds.
The Delaware Division of Forensic Science was contacted and removed the male from the scene. An autopsy is expected to be conducted within the next couple of days to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
The investigation is currently in its early stages and more information will be released when it is received.
