Pets killed in Hebron house fire

A fire that took the lives of five family pets in Hebron, has been ruled as accidental.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says a neighbor of the North Main Road home, reported the flames around 12:15 PM on Tuesday. Ten firefighters from Hebron, Mardela, and Delmar fire departments reportedly responded, and had the fire under control in around 15 minutes.
Investigators say they found that the flames started in the living room of the home, by something electrical. It has been ruled as accidental.
Damages are estimated to total $10,000. There were no human injuries or deaths, but three dogs, and two cats did reportedly perish in the blaze.
