Nearly 90 displaced after apartment fire in Temple Hills

A three-alarm fire that broke out at an apartment complex in Temple Hills has forced nearly 90 people out of their homes.

Officials say the fire broke out Saturday evening in the 3400 block of Brinkley Road. Three buildings were affected, and 30 apartment units were damaged.

Three firefighters were evaluated for injuries, and one suffered heat exhaustion.

Fire officials say at least 61 adults and 27 children were displaced. The Red Cross is helping those who were forced out of their homes. No residents of the apartment complex were injured.
