Monday Memo – September 28, 2015

MONDAY MEMO
TO:   ALL STAFF
FROM:   KATHLEEN
DATE:  28 SEPTEMBER 2015

UPDATE ON LOBBY RENOVATIONS

  • Renovations are picking up speed downstairs.  Changes you can expect to see this week include
    • Framed network posters in the Lobby will be swapped out with the posters in the upstairs hallway.  Upstairs frames are smaller than the posters and require a bit of trimming.  Following that swap, the upstairs artwork will become available for employee work areas.  Sarah Truitt will supervise, so requests should go to her.
    • Sports memorabilia, framed and other, will be offered to the Sports Department for their office.  Again, Sarah will coordinate.
    • Brent will be here to remove the wooden handrail in the lobby.  Whatever day that is will be a Dumpster Day.  We’ll keep you advised as Brent’s week shapes up.  Between the time that the handrail is pulled and the new glass and chrome one installed, we will have orange cones and tape along the edge to remind everyone of the uneven surface.  Please do be careful during this phase of the construction.
    • Brent will also be putting up the shelves in the current mail center so that we can dispose of the old plywood (and other) collection of random storage units.  See postings.
    • Sometime during the week, the polished concrete vendor (Robert Holmes/ Master Applications) will pull a section of the carpet in the Conference Room and stain it  so that we can see the Antique Cork color Pat selected.  The new floor will also feature a logo imbedded at the bottom of the entrance ramp.
