Man pleads guilty in fatal bar fight over NFL game

(AP) – A Chesapeake man has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in connection with a deadly bar fight that began as a spat over an NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins.
    
Multiple media outlets report that 37-year-old Ronnie Cisko brought his jury trial to an end Tuesday with his guilty plea in Chesapeake Circuit Court.
    
Cisko had been charged with second-degree murder, but prosecutors agreed to allow him to plead to the lesser charge. Second-degree murder carries a sentence of up to 40 years in prison. Voluntary manslaughter carries a one- to 10-year sentence, or up to 12 months in jail plus a fine.
    
Prosecutors said Cisko punched 46-year-old Charles Setchel in the neck on Dec. 28, 2014 at a Chesapeake restaurant, killing Setchel.
    
Cisko will be sentenced Jan. 11.
