Lions feast on Knights in Maryland-Delaware showdown

Coach Donnie Graef got career victory number 150 as his Queen Anne’s Lions defeated the Sussex Central Golden Knights 42-19 on Friday night.
An offensive and defensive score put the Lions up 14-0 early in the matchup. Sussex Central running back Ki’Ante Sturgis would keep his team close with a 59-yard touchdown run soon after. CJ Rodgers of QA, and Sturgis would trade touchdown runs as Queen Anne’s took a 21-13 lead into the half.
The Lions would come out the gates smoking, Tommy Bull would connect with Carlos Rodgers on a 31 yard touchdown pass, and the next series, Ahmad Gray would all but put the game away with a 75-yard touchdown run.
The Lions (3-1) host undefeated Parkside next Friday, while Sussex Central takes on rival Sussex Tech next Friday at home.
